The Blog posts section displays images and text from your four most recent posts—a nice way to highlight fresh content on your home page or elsewhere in your store.
Add this section to
Customize section settings
Click the Blog posts section to open its settings.
Select the blog to display
Click Blog posts to open its settings, then use Select blog to choose which blog's posts to feature.
Most stores only maintain one blog (often called "News"), but some create several to organize different types of content like customer stories, tips, and tutorials. Only published posts from the selected blog will appear, and it always pulls the four most recent.
Tip: To control the preview text shown for each post, add an excerpt in the post editor: go to Online Store > Blog posts, open the post, and add text to the Excerpt field. Without one, Shopify pulls preview text automatically from the start of the post.
Add copy and content
- Heading — Add a title above the section.
- Show border — Enable this to add a horizontal line separator above the featured posts, helping the section stand out.
