Desktop height
Use the Desktop height dropdown to select one of five image height options. The options are:
- Natural
- 500px
- 600px
- 700px
- 800px
This setting will cap the height of the images at the selected value (e.g. 600px) and maintain the proportional width for varying window and device sizes.
Mobile height
Use the Mobile height dropdown to select one of four image height options. The options are:
- Natural
- 300px
- 400px
- 500px
This setting will cap the height of the images at the selected value (e.g. 600px) and maintain the proportional width for varying window and device sizes.
Width
To have the slideshow span the full width of the home page, select Enable full width. Disabling this will add some margins to the left and right sides of the slide images.
Parallax effect
The Atlantic slideshow offers a parallax scrolling effect for the slideshow's image and text. To activate, go to the Slideshow section of the theme editor and Enable parallax.
Slide rotation
For slides to auto-rotate (instead of requiring users to click through them), you can check Auto-rotate slides. You can set the Rotation interval using the ranger slider below.
Add slide images, text, and call-to-action
Upload the images here to use and customize the text overlays. Begin by clicking on one of the Slide blocks to expand the settings.
Image
Click Select Image to connect the image.
Using images with a width between 2000px and 4000px is best to maintain quality across all windows and device sizes. The image height should fall within the 500-1000px range.
Add text and link URL
In the boxes below, you can input and format the slide’s Heading, Caption, Button text, and Link URL.
Atlantic provides custom placement control for your text content (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, top center, bottom center) on a slide per slide basis using the Text position dropdown. This way, the content of each slide can complement the composition of each image you choose.
Atlantic supports up to five slides at a time.
