Similar to the Collections list page, merchants often use static pages to gather and display certain collections together.
Use image-editing software to make collection images consistent, then the page editor to add the images to a new static page, assign links to the images, and adjust spacing and alignment for the page.
Using Empire or Atlantic?
Use the Subcollection templates to create pages of select collections.
Make collection images consistent
When displayed together, collection images look best when they have consistent aspect ratios. Before adding the images for your collection, consider adjusting the images to match one another.
For this example, a 1:1 (square )aspect ratio is established before uploading the images to the page.
Add the images to a new static page
Navigate to the Pages admin in your Online Store, then select Add page.
Include a Title, then Save to secure your work.
Select Insert image, then Upload to locate and add the first collection image.
Include headings (optional)
For search engine optimization and ease of customer experience, consider adding your collection titles below each image. With the title text selected, choose an option from the Formatting dropdown.
Assign links to the images
Select the image (and heading, if present), then the Insert link button.
Enter the URL for your collection. Since it is an internal page, you can simply add the handles for the collections:
e.g. /collections/gourmet-mushrooms
Select Insert link to complete the task.
Adjust spacing and alignment
Use the Edit image command to open the image editor. Use the spacing feature to add padding (measured in PX) to the images.
Use the Alignment selector to align to the Center, Left, or Right of the page.
