Theme versions released after July 2020 include some notable enhancements for localization. Included in these improvements are new label features to indicate tax details on the Cart page and Product form (product page, featured product section, and more).
Confirm your theme is a compatible version, then use the language editor to set up your tax labels.

Use the language editor to set up your tax labels
The language editor is used to modify instances of text throughout the theme and checkout.
Access the Edit languages settings
- In the Online Store, locate your theme
- Select the Actions dropdown
- Select Edit languages
Product form
Add a line of text for your Product form by going to the Product tab in the language editor.
Under Item price, add your tax label on the Tax line field.
You can also edit the unit pricing formula by editing the Price per unit html field.
If you have translated the theme to another language, do not translate the text within the brackets. These dynamic text strings are used by the platform and can malfunction if translated.

Cart page
Add a line of text for your Cart page by going to the Cart tab in the language editor.
Under General, add your tax label on the Taxes at checkout field.
