One of Shopify's latest enhancements to the platform is the product media update. In addition to images, merchants can also add short videos and 3D models to showcase their products.
Use the Products admin to add an image, a video, and a 3D model for your product.
Which themes are compatible with Product Media?
There are releases for each Pixel Union theme that include the Product Media compatibility enhancements.

Compare your theme's version number with the above chart or release notes for your theme. If you are using an older theme version, transfer your content to the latest theme version to start using Product Media features.

In the Media portion of the Product Editor, select Add file.
Shopify recommends products use images that are 2048 x 2048px.
Theme editor settings for product images
After images are added, you can adjust the theme editor settings for the product images. Where these settings are located in the theme editor depends on your theme, so use the following guide to access theme-specific instructions:
Adjusting image settings for the product page
Add a video for your product
In the Media portion of the Product Editor, select Add file.
Select an MP4 or MOV-formatted video file from your device.
Shopify requires video files in either MP4 or MOV file format. At maximum, videos can be 60 seconds in length, 1GB in size, and 4K (4096 x 2160px) in resolution. These requirements only apply to videos uploaded to Shopify.
Theme editor settings for media
Themes include settings for Product Media, such as the Product page template, so use your theme editor to access and adjust these settings.
Video autoplay and looping
For product videos, activate autoplay by selecting Enable video autoplay. Repeat the video automatically at its end by selecting Enable video looping.
Add a 3D model for your product
In the Media portion of the Product Editor, select Add file.
Select a GLB-formatted model file from your device.
Shopify requires GLB format for 3D models. The maximum file size permitted is 15MG and the recommended file size is 6MB.
