The header is the rectangular area that runs across the top of your store containing your logo, navigation, search, and cart link. It appears on each page to promote your company's brand and make it instantly recognizable to your visitors. This is a static section and cannot be repositioned.
Access the header section settings
Go to Customize > Sections > Header to edit the header's appearance and features.
Enable sticky header
Sticky headers, also known as a "fixed" header or "persistent" header, keep the header to the top of the screen while users scroll down a page. This provides consistent access to navigation tools and store branding.
Select Enable sticky header to enable this feature for your storefront.
Using the sticky header option will constrain menu items for more elegant transitions. If this is affecting your customer experience, consider disabling the sticky header.
Add a header logo
Your store’s logo provides branding for your site and a clickable link to return to the home page. By default, Editions will display your store name as your logo. To replace it, click the Select image button and locate the file to use. 300 x 100px .PNG image files work best for the Editions header, but larger images will be automatically resized to fit this constraint.
Adjust logo sizes
Use the Logo width and Mobile logo width to specify the maximum width for desktop and mobile device views.
Set up your navigation menu
In the Navigation admin, Online store > Navigation, there are two pre-populated menus: Main menu and Footer menu. Edit the links in these menus by clicking on the titles, or create additional menus by clicking the Add menu button.
Back in the theme editor, under Header > Navigation, connect the desired menu to your header. By default, it will display the Main menu. To change this, select Change.
Add mega navigation menus
If you have a dropdown set up in the header's navigation menu, consider enhancing it by activating the Mega navigation menu feature for it.
Select [+] Add mega navigation to get started. Use the Mega navigation trigger field to target the menu item with the dropdown attached.
