All Shopify stores come with a powerful built-in blogging engine. Blogs are great for content that is updated regularly, and while many stores maintain only one blog, some create multiple to better categorize information–including customer stories, tips, tutorials, FAQs and more.
All the blog content is added through the Shopify admin, but when it comes to customizing how the blog displays, this takes place in the theme editor.
Your Blog page provides users with an index of your blog posts.
To access the settings for these pages, navigate to your blog in the theme editor's right-side preview, then click Blog under the Sections tab.
Startup's blog comes with two layouts: Grid and List.
There are other settings here to consider and configure to suit your store's blog: Show RSS icon, Show tags (which are added in the post editor of your Shopify admin), Show featured image, Show post author, and Show comment count (these last two are options available to the List layout only).
Every time you publish a new article (or post) to your store's blog, Shopify will generate a new page and URL for it. To access the settings for these pages, navigate to a post—any post—in the theme editor and then click Article under the Sections tab.
Here you can determine whether to Show tags (add tags under Organization in the post editor). You can also opt to Show post author and Show full-width featured image, the latter of which can be added to the Featured image box for each post. For Startup, featured blog images should be large in width, as they will be displayed in a full-width banner.
