April 21st, 2022 - v7.1.0

Added

• Sections formerly limited to the home page, product page, and custom pages can now be added to all templates.
• We added compatibility for boolean metafields (e.g. true or false) so they can now be included in filters for collections and search results.
• We added a new dynamic slideshow section to work with any JSON template.
• We added a new setting for the header to contain the navigation items in a collapsed menu drawer.
• We added a custom liquid block option to the featured product and static product sections.

Changed

• Adjusted the newsletter section to become dynamic and compatible with any JSON template.
• Enhanced the product goal feature so it can be set up within product pages and featured product sections independent from the theme’s global product goal.
• Navigation style no longer changes based on header content and merchants have the option to contain the navigation items in a collapsed menu drawer.

Fixes and other improvements

• Enhanced the header cart icon to count dynamically updates after adding an item to the cart.
• The cart page will now render an error message for items when trying to add more than what’s available.
• Tab headings included no longer extend past the window.
• Improved spacing between breadcrumbs and sections across templates.
• No longer a horizontal scroll when the rich text section’s width setting is adjusted.
• Reduced layout shift for header and slideshow resulting in improved performance.
• Testimonials section remains centered across different screen sizes.
• Cart page will now show the original price and the sale price for sale items.
• For tablets, submenu links from the header navigation now go to the correct page.
• Improved design for order tables in customer account pages.

June 17th, 2021 - v6.8.2

May 13th, 2021 - v6.8.1

Fixed

• Customers can now update the quantity of items on the /cart page.
• The breadcrumb for the collections list page now links to the correct area instead of refreshing the page.
• The collection list template lists all of the collections in the store and display their image and title.

March 10th, 2021 - v6.8.0

Fixed

Added

• Product pickup information is now displayed for featured products and on the product page, when shop has local pickup enabled.

October 15th, 2020 - v6.6.3

Fixed

• The checkout link in the add-to-cart success message now works as expected.
• The 'Description' tab heading no longer appears if a product is using our standard tabs layout.
• The Facebook Pixel should only fire one time when adding an item to the cart now.

September 15th, 2020 - v6.6.2

Changed

• We have removed the default social media sharing image setting and we now defer to the setting in the Shopify admin.
• Theme code now uses render exclusively, instead of include.

Fixed

• The featured product section will no longer append a variant ID to the page URL.
• We've updated Ion icons to version 5.0.0.
• Ensure icons render correctly in all instances.

• Social feeds section as a result of Instagram's API deprecation so from now on you'll need to switch to using an app.

Fixed

• We've given our slideshow an update to make it perform better and to get rid of some inconsistent image cropping issues.
• Fixed structured data outputting an empty itemListElement array.
• Fixed a bug where a customer's addresses could not be edited or deleted.
• The labels for the product variants are now correctly showing as they should.

February 14th, 2019 - v6.0.2

• Fixed up an issue with the mobile navigation's dropdown arrows.
• Spring cleaning came early this year for Launch and we cleaned up a bunch of behind the scenes stuff, including:
  • Converted all CoffeeScript files to JavaScript.
  • Removed plugin.js and replaced with npm modules.
  • Reorganized file structure in a logical manner.
  • Implemented Shopify Sections Manager.
  • Removed Backbone.js.
• After receiving feedback about them, we have updated the collection pages and the featured collection sections to use the original image sizes instead of cropping them to square.

• Added support for the new font picker setting.

April 19th, 2018 - v3.2.1

• Headings in the Product focus and Technical specification sections are now optional.
• The logo in the header now uses a h1 tag on the homepage to help with SEO.
• Product focus and Technical specifications now use <h2> tags for headings.
• We reduced the space above the Slideshow button on large screens.
• Announcement bars that aren't linked will no longer show the pointer cursor.

April 5th, 2018 - v3.2.0

• Implemented responsive and lazy loading images.

• Implemented support for Shopify's new dynamic checkout buttons. Now on the product page and quickshop, customers can checkout directly via Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal, and Shopify Payments if you have those gateways set up on your store. 
• Fixed the infamous broken Twitter feed.

March 23rd, 2018 - v3.0.2

• We've made some typography changes to the slideshow (the max width of the text on the slideshow is now 1000px and the subheading font now matches the body).
• Blog posts should now have white text if using a Color/Gradient background.
• Video headings should now receive the correct font color.

• Updating item quantity while set to a currency that is not the default will no longer update the unit price of item.

• Cleaned up the icon fonts folder.
• The product page was failing in Firefox due to some woopsie javascript issues but that's all fixed up now.
• Cleaned up some minor newsletter visual bugs.
• Gave the cart the ability to update without leaving the page.
• Updated the way we handle inventory to comply with Shopify's inventory policies (mostly behind-the-scenes stuff).
