The Custom Prices feature that Wholesale Club offers provides you with direct control over your product prices and how they are applied to your Wholesale tags. Using either an imported CSV file which can be downloaded from the Custom Prices page, or modifying the prices through the interface you can set specific prices for every product and apply them to your chosen Wholesale tags.
Note: In order for a product to be managed by the Custom Prices feature it must have a SKU.
There are two options available when you're ready to add your Custom Prices: Import CSV or editing your products through the GUI.
Importing a CSV
You can upload your CSV file to quickly import your prices by clicking the 'Upload custom prices' button.
If you do not already have a CSV, you can download a template from the box that opens up. You can edit this template either in a spreadsheet program of your choosing (we like to use Google Sheets!) Once you've updated it and saved your changes, you can import that file into the app.
Once the upload is complete you'll see your Custom Prices on the page. In the future, if you want to make quick edits you can do so from this page rather than importing a new CSV. As well as modifying the prices, setting the price of a product to 0 will mark it as free, and setting the price of a product to -1 will revert the product price to the original product price.
Note: It's also possible to set custom SKUs for your product for tracking purposes. The actual SKU of the product won't be changed, but a second SKU is added.
Note: Mircrosoft Excel may convert your Variant ID column into scientific notation. This type of notation contains characters the app cannot recognize, and this will result in Custom Prices not updating. If your CSV doesn't update your prices, open your CSV and check your Variant ID column. Download a fresh CSV template from the app, and open it in another spreadsheet program like Google Sheets. Then, update the pricing in the new CSV and upload to the app.
