Grid's blog and article pages

Your Shopify store comes with a powerful built-in blogging engine. Blogs are great for content that you’ll be updating regularly. While many stores maintain only one blog (probably called "News" or "Journal") some create multiple to better categorize information–customer stories, tips, tutorials, etc.

All your blog composition takes place in the Shopify admin, but when it comes to customizing how your blog displays, this takes place mainly in theme editor.

Your blog page(s) provides users with an index of your blog posts. Some stores choose to rename this page "News" or "Journal"—what you call it and how you use it is up to you!

Grid comes with two blog index page layouts. These can be previewed and changed from the Shopify admin. Just go to Online Store > Blog posts > Manage blogs and click the name of your blog. From the template box on the right, select either blog or blog.masonry from the Template suffix dropdown.

SETTINGS

Off the top, you can customize the number of posts that display per page using the  Posts per page range (2-10).

You can also elect to Emphasize first post to draw attention to the first article on the Blog page.

CONTENT

Grid gives you the option of displaying a Promotional image, which you can overlay with text and link to another page on your site if you wish. This will display in the right sidebar of your blog pages.

Simply upload an Image, then add your Heading, Subheading, and Link.
